Lee Krasner was a US abstract expressionist, her work themes of nature and life, reflect her inner rhythm. Described as “mother courage of abstract expressionism”, these stirring works rank high among art produced within the abstract expressionist movement. Lee is one of only several women that have had retrospective exhibits at MOMA in New York City.
