I am a fiber fanatic from Maggie Valley North Carolina. I was immersed in fiber training from a very young age and was even more enthralled than my teachers- Mom and Granny. By the age of 6 I was making prom dresses for my dolls.   

As an adult, I enjoy the beauty of things made by those before us. Being kind to the environment goes beyond recycling the plastic bottle to repurposing things made by hand by our ancestors. I also enjoy incorporating other natural elements into my work. Mother Nature is the best designer of them all. Making something relevant and beautiful from something most would throw away or give away takes a lot of creativity but it gives me great pleasure on both the artistic and natural sides of myself.
