Collection: Artist: Joyce Henneberry

Joyce is a fiber artist from Brevard, North Carolina. She received her bachelors degree in graphic arts from Illinois State University and worked as a professional graphic artist for 25 years. Joyce owned her own advertising and design agency. Her work has been featured in national trade publications, magazines, and she has designed several published books.

Joyce has always had a passion for working with color. She discovered a love of fabric later in her career and has channeled that into her fiber fusion process. She draws inspiration from both nature and wildlife. Joyce enjoys working with clients on commission pieces. She experiments with and marries unusual colors to end up with a unique piece. Most of her art is custom wall art designed to bring life and color to a room.

Born and raised in Central Illinois, Joyce currently lives in a log cabin in the mountains outside of Brevard, North Carolina. She is married to wood carving artist and leather craftsman Mark Henneberry.
