There are many criteria for seeing the way to making better, successful paintings and this 3 day studio workshop will concentrate on those elements beginning with a "C". Learn how to incorporate them into the process of painting to eliminate indecision, a stumbling block in the creative process and arrive at finished paintings that meet your expectations. From concept, composition, color, contrast, correction through completion you will say I "C" better paintings.This workshop will be held at The Lucy Clark Gallery & Studio in beautiful downtown Brevard, North Carolina.
There will be daily demos and talks prior to painting (the morning lecture!) with a break for lunch (Dutch) at one of Brevard's many excellent restaurants, a short walk from the studio.
We will work from photographic reference materials and learn how to make the transition from photo to successful painting. This workshop will include demonstrations, critiques and one to one instruction in oil, acrylic or watercolor, your choice of medium! Open to beginners to advanced, this workshop will be limited to 6 participants and is expected to fill quickly.
