West Indian Mahogany Charcuterie Board with Hand Hammered Copper Hanldes HVC11

Historically, perhaps the most celebrated and revered cabinet and furniture wood in the world. Cuban Mahogany or West Indian Mahogany has been used extensively in cabinetry and furniture-making for centuries in Europe and the United States, being harvested to the point of complete depletion nearly 100 years ago, it is no longer commercially available. I collected and saved this wood during my 34 years living in the U.S. Virgin Islands and use it occasionally in my work.
